Moleskin trimmings and a 5-button enclosure finish this garment with class, but functionality has by no means been compromised. The tweed is rugged — pockets and shoulders are reinforced, and it has been finished in a Teflon coating to help fend off dirt and rain.

Made in Britain using top quality derby tweed, manufactured to the highest of standards. Walker & Hawkes have been designing tweed garments for over 20 years, so you can be assured this gilet is crafted to perfection.

The tweed is twill woven. Twill is a textile weave with the yarns packed very closely together, making it thick and tightly woven — resulting in a durable fabric that can withstand wear and tear. The tweed is spun yarn, making it softer and less prone to snagging. It is also treated with a Teflon fabric protector, which works like a protective barrier around each fibre of the fabric to help fend off water, dirt and stains, all while not affecting the fabric's weight, look, feel, colour, or breathability.

Your waistcoat will be perfect for those active days outdoors. It has a lightweight design and gives your arms enough room to facilitate freedom of movement. Dirt and liquids are easily wiped off thanks to the Teflon coating. Comes with 2 large bellowed pockets and a zipped inside pocket to carry your items.

Suitable for all weathers. Wear over a country shirt on warmer days, or layer it under a tweed jacket for the colder seasons. Available in Light Sage, Dark Sage and Forest Green.
